'This was our 2nd time staying at Bald Head Diamond and we loved it just as much as the first time. Perfect for a two people and the walkability to everything in the marina is awesome. Very clean and comfortable and the upstairs deck has amazing views. We would have liked to have had 2 chairs on the screened porch but that was the only issue we had. '

'Check-in was easy, cottage was very clean and staff were easily accessible for any questions. I was a little worried that staying on the marina, I might hear a lot of noise - the ferry/boats or people dining outside. I heard nothing except a few very faint ferry horns. The kitchen was great with a little fridge & freezer, toaster oven and microwave. A perfect little getaway spot! '

'Year 3 on the island and we feel like we're becoming pros. It can be stressful with all the logistics re: packing, labeling, ferrying, traming, but once you experience it the first time and realize how lovely and organized everyone is, you get to set it and forget it! We're more of the Shoal's ilk and these units have been perfect for our fam of 4. The BHI club is still requiring reservations (3-hr slots I think) since the pandemic and I can't bear the thought of keeping to a schedule while on...

It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Badwater Cape Fear race finish line, super convenient, especially after a long race. I plan to keep coming back every March.
