'We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful location, nice kitchen, even a really good place for dogs. We had everything to be comfortable. At nights the sky was breathtaking. The only problem was the mattresses. They kept creaking. Backyard was amazing! We had a such a relaxing time.'

The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again.'

'Lovely cabin in the woods. Easy access to Arcadia NP and Bar Harbor with none of the noise and crowds you see in those places. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. '

'We stayed at the Boathouse for our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted and more. The space is rustic yet comfortable and has a kitchenette that allowed us to make breakfast in the mornings and enjoy coffee and tea alongside our favorite feature, the wood stove. The shower had hot water and the outhouse was comfortable. We were able to unplug from it all and left feeling so rejuvenated. Hope to be back soon!'

'Surrounding woods and area definitely exceeded my expectations. A truly amazing clean green almost untouched area with clear waters and piney forests. Cabin was very comfortable and came with boats lights and everything we needed to have a great time out there. One of the best off the grid experiences I’ve had. Thanks again!'

'The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). '
