'Awe stayed for 3 nights over the weekend. We arrived at night (which I would not recommend doing for the first time you get there) and we did get a little lost. The host provided great directions, just being it the dark made it very challenging. It was very much worth the view! Beautiful place with a great set up for small kids and parents too. The host was very kind and even set out some fish food for our son to feed the koi pond with. Fit great for what we needed!'

'Two friends and I came to Asheville on a girls trip and stayed in this new house. I was a bit hesitant to book it because it was a new listing with no reviews yet, but I took a chance because the photos were appealing. The house is beautiful! It’s a little sparsely decorated, but that didn’t really matter to us. It’s a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath which we were looking for to all have our own rooms and baths. 2 of us ended up sharing a bathroom because the 3rd full bath is 2 floors down where there isn’t...

'We wanted to see the Chihuly glass exhibit at Biltmore. Found this lovely cottage on VRBO and had a great time. Everything was wonderful! Especially nice was that both bedrooms were almost identical so that there was no guilt from someone's room being better than the other. Plan to return for a longer stay in the future.'

But, as nice as the property was, Tom was an even better host! He was prompt and helpful with communications, often anticipating questions we might ask and answering them before we had to. He made us feel completely welcome and even offered to allow us to come back hours after we checked out in case we wanted to shower after soccer and before getting back on...

'What a wonderful place to rejuvenate and enjoy the natural surroundings. The goats were a hoot and the turkeys surely let you know who was boss! We had an excellent stay. 'Jessica was an excellent hostess, especially regarding communication. I had texted her a few times and she replied within moments, which is great when your in an unfamiliar place. The townhouse itself was absolutely incredible. It's massive, clean and overall picture perfect. It was very quiet being in an end unit. I was there with 5 other adults and everyone had nothing but praise for the layout, amenities etc'
