What we didn’t enjoy was the hilly walk from the parking to the house then a narrow staircase to our room. It was quite challenging.'

The couple that owns the motel are the main highlight: you will struggle to find more gracious, hospitable, friendly and helpful hosts anywhere in Newfoundland. The facilities are lovely and very distinct. The meals we had were excellent, including their very special (and very abundant) Jiggs Dinner which they offer every Sunday starting around noon, in the motel's main dining facility. Everyone is relaxed...
