'Lovely and wonderfull staff.'

'I stayed one night in Rm 4 on Aug. 5. Arrival--I advised two days before that I might arrive around 7 pm with my rental car. I heard no response. On arrival--no staff on hand so parked around the back of bldg. and notice said to go across street for checkin. I signed in with the barman. Asked where Rm. 4 was--he said he didn't know --had never been in the bldg. I'm 80 yr. old and have two walking sticks with me. What if I need help to get inside airline bag upstairs??????????? Can't help...

'This is a beautiful place to stay in St. John's, the room is clean and you can find so much details to look at. I especially loved how quiet it was, I had a really good night's sleep. Bill is very nice and helpful with everything you need.'

'Great location. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Comfortable beds and pillows. Hotel had awesome classic rock vibe. The pool, hot tub and sauna were the best I have ever been to in a hotel and change rooms were like being at a spa. Close walk to George street pubs for live music every night. Also close to walking along the waterfront to see the big ships and fishing boats. Had a great time thank you.'

'Very dirty and run down in rooms and in amenities (pool, workout rooms) - rust, peeling paint, holes in walls, workout room with garbage on floors and no cleaning supplies for equipment post work out. Pool area very dark and poorly maintained - looks NOTHING like the pictures online. Very disappointing. Walkable to the sights but that doesn't make up for the decrepitude of the hotel itself. The lobby has clearly been remodelled and looks good, but time to spread the love to the rest of the...
