'I did one overnight stay with my boyfriend and one year old. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We drove in to Columbus, which was 10 minutes down I 10 towards Houston to go to a steakhouse and popped into their Hound song brewery for an appetizer and beer. Very easy location to access off of the interstate and close to gas stations, fast food, and Dollar General.'

'The hotel needs to be remodeled. The pool was down. The carpet smells. There is a mildew smell. Staff were never at the front desk. There was only one hotel cart. Only one elevator that barely fits the cart. They also advertised a hot tub that did not exist. Also, I was told they had cribs or playpens, and they have not had any for over 4 years.'

'This is a beautiful and unique property. Overall we enjoyed our time with family (10 adults, 12 kids under age 11). The pool is not heated, so swimming in May was a bit chilly. The bathroom arrangement is unique with one room that has three toilet closets and a separate room just down the hall with three dorm style showers. The landscape is breathtaking with plenty of room to spread out, and we were able to spot several alligators nearby.'
