'Listen, it’s not the ritz but for a budget inn on the side of the highway it’s really cute and has everything you need. My friend and I stayed here during The Womp music festival and would stay here again. The staff were super nice as well. '

'We had a very pleasant stay. The views of the lake are truly exceptional, and the house itself was clean and well-maintained. While a deeper clean in certain areas (such as under the beds) would be beneficial, overall the property was in good condition.The hosts have also made noticeable improvements in their communication. 'Nice, fully outfitted, clean cabin.Lake & dock is just a walk over the road and train track. There is no sand beach, but the lake is sandy and shallow, and there are a lot of water toys (paddle boards etc) in boathouse.'

'What a beautiful space! The location was great, especially when we had our rental car, but we were able to use Uber as well. The space was so beautiful and it was so nice to have a lot of room, we weren’t confined to sitting on a bed like in a hotel. 'We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter and her family in Stony Plain. The location was great for us and the house was roomy. We had other family stay with us as well from Ontario and Vancouver and the host was very accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Communication with host was amazing. 'Jocelyn was exceptionally responsive to our every question and need, and she was an absolute delight to deal with. The new hot tub was lovely, but it was not chemically up to par yet to actually enjoy. I have every confidence she'll work with her hot tub guy and get it crystal clear! The listing said there would be coffee and firewood available, but there wasn't, but no big deal. Overall the home provided all that we needed for a great get-away.'

'This was a great place to stay. It was redone inside beautifully. Honestly 10 stars. With it having direct lake access, it would’ve been nice if paddleboards, kayaks and such were available so we could enjoy the water. It also would’ve been great if there was a BBQ on the back deck. '

"Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamers waren ook goed schoon. Alleen de gang was bloedheet, ook was het tapijt in het hotel erg verouderd, het tapijt liet los en was vies. De banken in de gangen die bekleed waren, waren echt af en er zaten veel zwarte vieze vlekken in. Ook in de ontbijtzaal waren de stoffen banken vies en af. Het ontbijt was redelijk. Het hotel staat op een soort industrie terrein, dus de omgeving is niet perse mooi, maar daar kies je zelf voor als je hier een kamer boekt. "
