'Staying here was such an enjoyable, relaxing, and special experience. The breakfast and dinner kaiseki were delicious and allowed us to try a variety of Japanese dishes. It's a lot of food so come to each meal hungry. All the staff we interacted with were kind and very helpful. The indoor and outdoor onsen was the perfect way to unwind after long days exploring the Hakone area. 'A lovely relaxing place to stay. The staff were lovely, helpful and prepared to explain about the onsen which was a very pleasant experience. Both our evening meal (vegan curry and beef with rice dish) and the breakfast were delicious. We felt our stay was very good value. The twin room was huge. 'Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Locatie super, aan het meer met uitzicht op Mount Fuji. Kamer zeer schoon maar wel gedateerd. Verder wel alles aanwezig wat men nodig had. WiFi van prima kwaliteit. Mogelijkheid om op het complex in yukata rond te lopen en indien gewenst souvenirs e.d. te kopen. Diner en ontbijt van goede kwaliteit met wederom zeer vriendelijk personeel. Onsen waren erg fijn. Meer dan genoeg ruimte om vooraf te douchen e.d. Tevens was de hygiëne goed op orde en was het vaak niet zo...

'We had an excellent relaxing visit in Hakone at the Prince Hotel. The Japanese bath is exceptionally beautiful, has an outdoor tub from which the sunrise over the mountains can be seen. We enjoyed the extensive breakfasts- don't pass them up. We don't golf or play tennis, but used this resort setting as a base for sightseeing and hiking the region's mountain trails.'

"Excellent service, checking in was fast and friendly. The rooms are large and luxurious with a “Zen” feeling. Breakfast & dining were very good, We tried the onsen, it was outstanding, after this you really feel born again. But most important and probably the best reason to book this hotel is because of the staff, they gave us top service and were so kind and gave us the best tips for sightseeing "
