'The bar was reasonbly priced and on Saurday night karaoke was on. The room was clean and tea/coffee facilities in room. The location is great. Had no complaints and will be returning in May.'

'The host declared the lodge ready for us to enter. On arrival it was absolutely freezing inside and was uninhabitable. I messaged the host to say it was very cold and she ignored the message. There was no heating on at all so as we still needed a place to stay we put the heating on and went back a few hours later. To make matters worse we were with our elderly mother who has terrible rheumatoid arthritis and we had to take her back home. It was supposed to be a family get together before...

'Fantastic venue for a family get together. The ‘cave’ with the snooker table and dart board kept the children and adults entertained. Simon was the perfect host always on hand if you needed anything and the children loved the opportunity to feed the koi carp. Would definitely recommend The Barn to others.'

'If your looking for peaceful off the beaten track lodgings ,then this is the place for you. My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here.The bungalow is well equiped with everything you need. The surrounding area is good for bird watchers with hedgerows,open fields and skies. Not too far (15 mins) is Barnaby sands marsh where we enjoyed long walks as far as Knott end and beyond. Gareth our host was very freindly and nothing was too much trouble. '
