'The place was very accessible to shopping and tourist areas like High Falls Gorge and Whiteface Mountain. Breakfast was good. The only thing we didn’t like was the shower since the water from there flows right into the toilet. No clearcut divided except for the curtains. Other than that, our stay was great.'

Huge Samsung TV which required some effort to figure out how to navigate the channels, but after that I enjoyed the channel options and the picture quality. Some written instructions would have been nice. Ditto for the a/c remote but I didn't really need it. 'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'
