'This cottage was the perfect spot for our visit to UVA for the NCAA Lacrosse championships. The group consisted of myself, my son and four of his lacrosse teammates from W&J. We all loved the spot. We grilled food, caught & released some really nice fish, the boys enjoyed the hot tub - and we just generally had a great, relaxing, time. 'Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. ...

The house is spacious and located at the first floor and lovely decorated with a good eye for detail. Everyting in the kitchen is brand new. In the evening you can stay outside in the garden under a big tree with party lights. It was graat place to hang out with our adult children. Laat but not least, we enjoyed the animals at the farm, especially the cats.'
