'It’s a good stay. Nothing spectacular but the staff (probably the owners) were very sweet and nice. I’m not too picky and I felt safe in the area. There weren’t any disturbances and my room was pretty clean. The place certainly looks rustic if I was to comment on it but if you’re looking just for a bed and shower it’s great. They had good but loud AC, a Roku TV, mini fridge, and a microwave. If I travel to Des Moines again by myself, I’ll probably stop here again as the price was good'

'What a jewel this house is - the history and the care in renovating are phenomenal. I slept upstairs and enjoyed it very much. I love all the windows which allow a lot of light into the house. I was surprised how close it was to the street and we did hear some street noise through the night. The coffee bar was wonderful as was the garden which notes all of the flowers that have been planted. I really enjoyed that.'
