'Even though the cost of the room was elevated because of ISU’s graduation, it’s still one of the better properties to stay if you’re in Bloomington normal. Helps that it has a really good dash of nostalgia thrown in if you’re over 40.'

'Scramble eggs are great, quiet college town, close to restaurants, coffee shops, train/bus station and CVS.'

'King suite - accessible room. Had a Murphy bed that was a queen size and not a normal king bed as stated and reserved. Room layout was really good and roomy with a nice mini-bar area. Bathroom has some maintenance issues. Shower had some mold on the caulking by the base. Walls had holes in it from trying to hang hand rail by toilet and the toilet is not an ADA high toilet. It was so low it was hard to sit and stand. The wallpaper is peeling off walls in breakfast and dining area. ...

'We had a handicapped accessable room and the shower did not work properly. The hand held spray did not work. I told the front desk and they had a repairman come and fix it the next day. It then worked but it leaked horribly. The staff was good to get someone to look at it but the repairman did a less than good job.'

'Appreciated staying in a facility that was up to date and modern. Only complaint we have is that the elevator took way too long to close the doors, even when the button was pushed to close the doors (it did not respond).'

'The room was just okay, nothing spectacular. I was quite disappointed that I paid extra for a suite with a whirlpool tub but after running 3 clean cycles trying to clean out the jets, there was still a lot of nasty gunk coming out so I ultimately decided against using it for bathing.'

'Where to begin. We literally saw a mouse in our room. Called the front desk and the apologized and said they were booked. About 30 min later Called back and said they have a different room for us. That room was even worse. Mouse dropping at pee on the pull out mattresses. Looking further there were droppings on the foundation of the regular beds. So we had to go back to thr room with the mouse because they had nothing. Needless to say I didn't sleep at all. Unfortunately we couldn't go to...

'tv bed fridge microwave. Fridge rattled all night and shower had peeling paint with mildewed caulk. in all fairness it was still fair for what we paid.'

'This had to be the absolute worse place I’ve have ever stayed at. I can’t believe that expedia recommended me to spend my one key dollars here. It was deplorable. It was so bad that couldn’t even spend the night here. '

'Most of the things didn't. Work. We didn't have a phone or a working vlock. We were charged extra tax after we already paid for our room months ago. I think we should get that money back.'

'It was decent until I saw a mouse on my bedside table the next morning. Not gonna lie, really didn’t like that. I called the front desk and they offered to move me to another room but since I was checking out in five hours, I didn’t feel like it was necessary. There were ants around the syrup container lid in the breakfast area. But other than that, it was a nice stay. Plenty of restaurants and very convenient.'

'Staff was great! No Hot tub anymore! Under new ownership so they are trying to bring it up to par! Needs some major cleaning and new curtains, bed skirts, sanding and paint on bathroom door jams! Outside needed mowing and trimming Breakfast was typical. Pool was open part of the time. Again, management is trying!'

'Breakfast menu was satisfactory, felt tge parking was safe and secured, room could have reviewed once again before guest check in (remaining hair in bathroom shower and the toilet), staff was respectful.'

'Staff were very polite & helpful. Room was clean & comfortable and had a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker & good WiFi. Air Conditioner & heater were very quiet. The room is well soundproofed, so noise was very minimal even with the hotel full on a Friday night. Hotel is conveniently located a couple of miles from the ISU campus. We would definitely stay here again when in town.'
