'From the outside, it looks neglected, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in our room. Everything is updated except for the bathroom. We just kind of ignored that Room lol.'

'This is a traditional hunting & fishing lodge environment. Nothing fancy for sure, but it's clean and neat. Fine for a short term stay. No amenities. Half the price of the hotels closer to downtown.'

'The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. I was disappointed to find out you had to request a room with a microwave. Also, our room keys were shut off twice during our stay, requiring us to go to the desk to get new keys to get into our room. The back parking lot was nice but to get to it from the floor the room was on you had to carry the suitcases down two sets of stairs. '

'The perfect stay in nature, as much modern comfort as you could need. The Cabins for both sleeping and the bathroom stay toasty even when it's freezing outside, and the eating area is well managed to minimize bugs. Kevin (the host), makes himself scarce retaining that sense of privacy. But don't let him, as he's excellent company and one of the most helpful people you'll ever meet.
