'The rooms are rather old and in need of a refurb: blinds on window (in two separate rooms) did not work, and in both rooms the safe was broken.
I had to ask on three separate occasions to have house keeping clean the room and replace towels etc. House keeping eventually cleaned my room on the 4th day, despite the first request on day 2.
This is not a low cost hotel, and I expected better. I would not stay here again'

'Great location and close to great restaurants. While pet friendly it was difficult to find a doggy potty area. The bathroom had had a leak that was barely patched and the bath had no fan. The parking was valet and we thought our car was parked in an enclosed area but we later saw it in a school parking lot.'

'It’s worth the expense to be so close to such a “walkable” area and the views can be stunning. Great food nearby (Middletons, O’Brians, Chick&Ruth’s deli), crazy expensive boats…what fun!

The room was perfect. We had a complaint about noise from our neighbor and we were moved to another room with an apology from the staff for our experience.

'It was an amazing romantic stay! However, there was a wedding on the property during our stay which we were not informed of in advance. There were reports from staff that we would need to exit the pool and outside amenities before the wedding started at 5 pm. This was disappointing given we were not told this until check-in. Overall, great stay! The Bartenders were wonderful! '

My only dislike is that after calling the front desk for a sheet, pillow and blanket for the sleep sofa, the fitted sheet was way too small and didn’t fit. I was too tired to call and ask again. Everything else was great. My son still had a great night sleep.'

'We celebrated my daughters 16Th birthday in Maryland and had the pleasure staying here. They decorated the room with balloons and a card which was so amazing. The rooms are very clean, decorated lovely and the property is beautiful. They though of every detail right down to cold water at the pool and sunscreen if you needed some! I cant wait to go back and see the beautiful fall colors and stay at the inn again:)'

'The closers on the doors are so harsh, they rattle your ear drums. It is difficult to sit in the lobby and read with the doors banging all of the time. Even the checkin clerk has a door behind him that goes bang all of the time. Children under 10 would have a hard time even getting out of a room, in case of fire.'
