'Just around the corner from National Express Bus terminal. Also Green Mango Hair Salon. Room 5 in the second floor is quiet. Room 3 on the first level not to much. '

'Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die gezellig een praatje komt maken als je dat op prijs stelt en voor je klaar staat. Prima eenvoudig en meer dan voldoende ontbijt. De B&B zit in een oud victoriaans gebouw, badkamer kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken (voorbereiding daarvan leek al in gang gezet). Daarom iets lagere score op netheid en staat van accommodatie. Op loopafstand vind je de ferry naar Portsmouth met een oude haven en nieuwe shoppingoutlet en boulevard met arcades, kermis en meer vermaak.'

'Better than staying at cookie cutter run of the mill hotel or motel. Feel the charm of British culter and hospitality. Well worth forgoing some amenities just for the experience. '

'Het hotel bestaat uit 4 kamers en slechts 3 parkeerplaatsen. Geen ontbijtservice en de aangegeven locatie er schuin tegenover, voor het ontbijt, is ronduit slecht, zegt ook de hotel eigenaar. De volgende locatie ligt op een 10 minuten rijden en hebben slechts 'A full English breakfast', geen licht ontbijt. Kamer 2 is een leuke 3 persoonskamer, met een kabouterdeur om binnen te komen, mini douche en toiletruimte zonder werkende ventilator. Het bed was goed, de ventilator aan het plafond erg...

'Gorgeous room and lovely decor overall although a few things were broken opun arrival e.g. One of the blinds pull strings was snapped and one of the plant pots was crackes. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would rate higher but the rooom did not come with any bath products or a hair dryer, and the tea and coffee was kept in the hallway between the rooms rather than having a selection in the room. Will definitely stay again if this is fixed. '
