'This was a delightful place to stay. The condo is very clean and lovely. The king sized bed is very comfortable. The courtyard is lovely and contains one of the two pools on the property. The condo is about 200 yards from the ferry, and is right across from the town’s plaza (we watched all of the Dia de Los Muertos activities there).The eastern shore of the ocean is right outside, off your balcony. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing a long list of tips and recommendations, and even connected me with an amazing massage therapist whose studio is just a short walk from Villa Amistad. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the house manager responded quickly whenever I had questions. My favorite features were the gorgeous pool, the wonderful rooftop, and the super comfortable bed. I can’t wait to come back!'

'Villa Amistad took our breath away the moment we opened the front door & could see the ocean through the beautiful glass doors into the beautiful pool area. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks transforms you. You are only separated from the ocean by a lovely walkway, called the Malecon that runs a good length of the island & the Villa has direct access to it through a door next to the pool which was a plus.
