'This home was perfect for our family of 4 and was exactly as described. The golf cart was in the shop, so the owners rented one for us to use. It was so much fun cruising around the island, loading it up with the beach chairs and umbrellas to go to the beach and taking it to see the sunsets. We didn't use the kayaks, because it seemed a bit far to walk them to the beach, but it would have been doable. There were bikes, but only 1 was usable after a little work. All tires were flat and seats...

'Nails are protruding above decking and a safety hazard. The slider needs a new lock and currently not secure. The dish washer quit working. And, we had demolition next door with loud construction equipment and the smell of diesel exhaust. Considering the cost, we were quite disappointed. We enjoyed ourselves when we were not at the property.'

'The location of this home is great! It is a quick walk to Andy Rosse and having docks available for fishing and Manatee watching was a major plus. The house itself is in some need of updating, but nothing major. I would definitely rent it again. '

'Unit was beautifully decorated. Amazing views of the gulf. Prime location on Captiva Island. I’ve been vacationing in Captiva for over 40 years and have stayed all over the island. The beach cottages at South Seas are gems and this one is by far the nicest one I’ve stayed at. '

'This place was perfect for me and my family. The kids could run around outside catching lizards and other critters, while my husband and I could supervise from the screened in porch. The house was very clean, although the blinds need to be replaced, a few are broken. The washer isn’t the best for big loads, since it gets off balance very easy. It has a private outdoor shower too, which the kids loved to use. Overall, perfect place for us! Would love to stay here again.'
