'Stijlvol romantisch hotel in het midden van Oud San Juan, alles op loopafstand. Erg leuk dakterras met badkuipen :) Iets totaal anders dan de grote ketens, maar zeker een aanrader, zou zo terug willen'

'Staff was very friendly. Happy hour was nice when no events interrupted it. Pool and gym are clean and lovey. Pool bar staff was awesome. Wish my room was cleaned a bit better as bar glasses were not removed. Also had a strange snafu with my bill. '

'I think we were a tad unlucky as our booked room had been given away by mistake and when we arrived at 10pm the room on offer smelled of damp. The air con control was missing so it was pretty hinky till we got one on day 2. The toilet didn’t refill properly so each time we had to take off the lid and fiddle with the workings to stop the water running. The bed was very small, rickety and squeaky. 'Beautiful, unique place; very clean; in a fantastic location in the heart of Old San Juan, adjacent to Fort Cristobal; restaurants nearby; 24 hour desk; cute library; excellent rooftop area with views. The negatives were: our room wasn’t ready at the 4 pm check in time so we had to wait; the next day housekeeping didn’t leave a bath mat towel or wash cloths. We didn’t notice until about to shower. We asked at the desk and they said it would be sent right up and never arrived. Our room was nice...

'Noisy, granola bars with coffee for the price of this hotel was shameful. The common area was sparce-patio tables and a few unbrellas indoors. Too much traffic, construction, loud people but I guess that's what you get for staying in the center of Old San Juan. Will not recommend this property to anyone who wishes a decent nights sleep. Very disappointing for the end of a good trip.Should have expected and done more research. '

'This is a beautiful hotel! It is mostly clean- although a little more eye for detail (tops of baseboard in bathrooms...) would be great. I also felt weird asking for coffee cups in the morning for the coffee that was offered. But, the staff were very friendly, the hot tubs were clean and the outside baths are a cool concept. However, the room was very small—too tight for even two carry-ons—and lacked a nightstand for charging devices. Most disappointing were the curtains on the main door, which were visibly dirty and "nasty." Great spot for the area, but the cleanliness and layout need work.'

'Our flight arrived in San Juan at 1:00 am. at 11:30 pm the hotel sent a message that due to a problem in Old San Juan they had no water pressure. It was too late to find a new hotel and the hotel didn't offer a free cancellation option. They also said they had no hot water because they use solar hot water and blamed the recent weather. We had booked 12 months in advance to stay 1 night before a cruise. We never would have booked a hotel with no hot water. We wanted to shower off the airplane...
