'The service at this hotel is what makes it 5 stars. All the staff are pleasant and were amazingly helpful when our originally scheduled ferry was canceled. Our room didn’t have a view, had an awkward amount of furniture (highly recommend removing the extra chair so there’s a place for luggage - we stored it above the fridge to make space), and was a little dated. But it served its purpose and the AC worked great so no complaints :-). SUPER convenient to get to anywhere in Avalon by walking. '
