'With a party of two Dutch family's of four adults and four children between seven and fourteen years old we stayed at the ranch for two days. The house was not clean, a number of doors wouldn't close anymore. We were even afraid to cook our own meal because of the kitchen cleanness . The kids liked the horses though. The homeowner was mostly friendly. Only upside was the price, it was low and therefore we didn't have very high expectations.'

'Excellent last minute stay after our alternative accommodation fell through. The property is well maintained, spotless and very comfortable. The laundry facilities were an additional blessing. Lone Pine is a lovely little town and we enjoyed meeting some of the welcoming locals on our evening exploration. Will definitely stay again if passing through.'

Communication was very quick, and we received helpful details ahead of our stay, which made everything easy and smooth.One of our favorite parts was spending the evening by the fire pit on the huge deck. The children also really enjoyed the game room in the garage, especially the ping pong table and darts.'

'Bring earplugs &/or white noise. You’re sharing a home with the hosts, so sounds from their living area leak past interior doors. Kudos to them for being willing to share an attached dwelling with strangers — I don’t think I could! Other things to be aware of: You may be charged $25 extra if unable to check in at the appointed time. The short access road is bumpy, dusty gravel. Otherwise, all routes are paved. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. It was nice to meet their dogs and cats...

'Very clean and beautifully decorated home near Yosemite and lovely town. The hot tub was wonderful and very clean. The wood stove made it so cozy and warm. The host was very friendly and communicative - they left us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary trip. So thoughtful! Highly recommend this location for those visiting the area!'
