'We wanted to explore a new town on the way to our final destination. We found this delightful downtown spot rich with history. We also loved the attention to detail and added amenities. 'Perfect home base for visits to Penn State- adorable town with plenty of breakfast/coffee options. The apartment is filled with fun 70s and 80s nostalgia, and a Ms Pac-Man and pachinko game! Beds are SO comfy, LR is roomy and cozy for hanging out and watching a movie or playing games or chatting. Everything you need and more!! '

'Absolutely wonderful. The area is quiet and peaceful. The family is wonderful and welcoming. We had a nice private space in the basement with our own entrance. The family even left for us fresh eggs, milk, donuts, bananas, and cereal! The place was clean and beautiful.They are honest about their noise level - there are young children running above your head in the morning. But I honestly thought this added to the character of the place.'

'This property definitely lived up to the VRBO description! Due to skyrocketing rates & plummeting service at the PSU boutique hotel where we normally stay, we decided to give VRBO a try. We were NOT disappointed and loved the PSU-themed apartment! Bellefonte is a lovely community and just 12 miles from PSU. The apartment was clean, appealingly furnished, and included a fascinating array of PSU memorabilia.The kitchen was modern and well stocked. Plenty of towels and face cloths, and the beds...

'We stayed here for our daughter’s freshman NSO and it was the perfect location. Loved the neighborhood and the space was adequate for the time we spent there. The homeowner was very understanding of our delayed flight and late arrival and even left us snacks! '

'This cabin is located in a very quiet, peaceful area, which is fantastic for decompressing and relaxing. Keep in mind that it is a bit of a drive if you're looking for restaurants or shopping. Cell service is poor, as to be expected in the mountains, but there is wifi in the cabin with a strong signal. The cabin itself is very clean amd comfortable. You're renting the bottom level, while the host lives in the top level via a separate entrance. He is very kind and we didn't even notice him there...
