'My husband, son and I stayed there for a lacrosse tournament at Stony Brook. The apt. was very clean and perfect for 2-3 people. The AC is run by the main house and when it got a little warm the first day I reached out to Stu and he and his wife quickly lowered the temp for us and it was perfect. Cute neighborhood-we visited Stony Brook village, Port Jeff and Sunken Meadow Park in our off time. Last year we stayed in Patchogue which was nice but we enjoyed the North Shore this year. 'So glad we found this listing! It was perfect for a long weekend for a wedding at Oheka Castle. The deck overlooking the owner’s backyard and gardens was so beautiful and peaceful. The property sits back from the road and up a driveway which makes it even more private and quiet. We were able to make a short drive to great local towns for dining,(shopping if you want) and beaches and a boardwalk.We highly recommend this property.'

'We went to check in around 5pm since check in was at 4. Luckily we were able to leave our kids with family while we went to check out the place and unload our luggage. We arrived and parked in the street like we were told and walked to the back around the whole yard on an unfinished path. We had to step over a large roof drain pipe to get to the basement door which was not very safe.
