'The house was the most beautiful we have stayed in !! We were only 9 miles from the Lobster festival & it was the perfect place to get in & out without the horrible traffic !! But I would stay there just to take scenic Trips around the area !!'

'We had 6 adults (3 generations) staying in this beautiful house in Friendship, ME. It was so clean and so spacious. Everything we could have possibly needed was there. The water access was amazing. We saw fireworks over the harbor our first and last nights. We visited several nearby towns and ate lobster every day. Gil and Sharon were fabulous hosts. The only thing I can say about the listing is that it was even better than the pictures.'

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
