'We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip! The healthy complimentary breakfast was very good, which we enjoyed at one of the picnic...

'Room felt musty and humid even when bathroom vent was on. There were insects in the bedroom (flies and moths). Breakfast was terrible. There are somethings you shouldn't eat even when its free.'

'An absolutely beautiful property and staff were incredibly kind and helpful! We had a late arrival and the two young gentlemen were waiting at the dock and they helped my sister and I with all our bags. The entire property was very clean and there were incredible views of the water and golf course. Looking forward to returning!'

'Incompetent staff. Unfortunately even if you carry an honor status you can't get room service daily . Even making of bed . Bathrooms need to be wiped down and vacuum daily . Very disappointing . Will stay with Marriott property next time .'

'This is a great place to stay. Everything was outstanding. I had only 1 issue and that was just a slow draining shower. I told them at the front desk I was leaving for a bit and could they look at it. Indeed when I returned in 2 hours it was working fantastic. Room was very clean, shower was hot and had lots of pressure. I will stay here again for sure if I pass through Maine in the future. Very nice and courteous staff all the way around as well. Beats a lot of pricier hotels I have...

'The room was fine, but we hadn’t expected to have to walk up stairs to get to our room in a three floor facility. Although it was only a half flight, it was inconvenient. Also, breakfast was not included in the price. There was a good breakfast available near by.'
