Cottages in Derbyshire

'I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.'

'We had a nice time in this cosy cottage. The pub nearby was really a plus! And also the walking of the beautifull and quiet Lathkill Dale from the door.'

'Lovely cottage, has everything you need for a quiet getaway. Host is really nice and the area is lovely. We had two dogs with us and they loved the enclosed field to run around in. The surrounding villages are nice to visit and plenty of pubs and public trails to check out. All in all a perfect holiday. We Will be coming back. '

'We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...

'It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.'
