Budgethotels in District West Dorset

'We had a lovely time at the Frampton Arms. The room we stayed in was comfortable and very clean. Good shower. Nice and quiet after the pub is closed, which isn’t very noisy to begin with. The pub is reasonably popular and has nice outside seating. Good food and large portions. Friendly and helpful staff. There is the occasional train passing by, as the pub is next to a railway track and tiny station, but this doesn’t give much annoyance as trains are few and far between. Continental breakfast is...

'This is my second time at this property. I liked it so much I went back. With a change of ownership it’s only got better and Emma - Jane and her team are spot on in everything they do. I could not praise them highly enough. Rooms are well proportioned, clean and the shared spaces are great. The food is exceptional.'

'Perfect place for us.'

'Mooi hotel gaaf ingericht met antieke meubels '

'Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast'

'Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between.'

'The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold.'

'De hospitality was voorbeeldig. Niet veel gezien.'

'Goed hotel ligt erg afgelegen. Prima restaurant. Kamers met diep ligbad. Voor senioren heel moeilijk om hier uit te komen.'

'We really liked everything about the Ollerod. Two thirds of our breakfasts were provided by Julie, who was so nice. We enjoyed chatting with her about the local area. The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. One gentleman even arranged to have housekeeping launder a few shirts for...

'It was a pleasure to stay the night at the Town House, really lovely people and a bonus to chat over breakfast with another guest. A cosy, homely feel and definitely somewhere we'll book again'

'The hotel was really a hostel and did not match up with images on their website. We were expecting to be staying in a country house hotel not a youth hostel. The only facility we had was wifi. The room was clean but very basic with no ability to make ourselves a tea or coffee without walking down two flights of very steep steps to the kitchen which was a health and safety nightmare - no idea why they could not have put a tea/ coffee station on the top floor. There was no television...

'we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning again.'

'Twin kamer was erg krap. Badkamer in de gang. Beiden toe aan een grondige poetsbeurt ! Ontbijt was prima.'

'De accommodatie was schoon en netjes. De ligging is ideaal: op loopafstand van het centrum, maar toch in een rustige buurt. Hierdoor konden we gemakkelijk de stad verkennen en tegelijkertijd genieten van een ontspannen verblijf. Zeker een aanrader!'
