'Large, sunny 2 bedroom apartment and a short walk to the beach. Carol is a lovely, friendly host and made us feel very welcome. We were very lucky with the weather but felt the apartment would have benefitted from some fans as it became very hot and stuffy in there. The bedrooms only have blinds but they are not quite as wide as the windows. The gaps let in the morning sun and evening light from the street lights leading to a very disrupted sleep. 'entrance hall was a bit of a letdown as obviously was being painted, the glass in the doors had paint on, windows rattled all night from the wind, very cold on last night as couldnt work out how to turn up heaters, coupboard door in kitchen came off, only 3 mugs & 4 of us, shower was very slow & leaked over bath, no-one told us upstairs shower was out of order & they had a leak in the lounge, shower upstairs was out of order'

No reception at the building (a semi-derelict house divided into flats) so we entered via open side door, climbing over litter, building waste and abandoned clutter. No response from the various doors inside. Decided this was a scam and left to seek better accommodation.'
