' Nothing fancy, but it did the job. There were a few bugs (nothing crazy) and the walls were very thin, but the room was basically clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and I got to check in early at no extra charge. The price is great though: would recommend for the mid-picky traveler who wants to avoid the SF hostels. '

'I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. I felt safe. It was loud but not unbearable. A car horn and siren woke me up. The windows are right by the street. No real complaints. The stairs kinda shocked us. To afraid to ride the old school elevator. Would stay again my husband wouldn’t. '

The location was nice; however, we had several issues with the rental, most alarming was that someone was living in the shared basement even though the house was listed as an entire, private home. There were some other oddities such as a lack of clean sheets on one of the beds, prescription medications in the refrigerator, and a lack of response from the host who did not provide entrance instructions until several hours after the check-in time or...
