'We had storms and the tv was a Roku tv. I called our contact and was very worried. The actual owner came to our door and tried an old antenna to try and get us live tv. The hospitality was great and they were so kind and assured if anything happens they would get us to their storm shelter. I felt very valued and our wellbeing was a top concern. Highly recommend.'

'The apartment was very clean and was a well-designed renovation of an older home. We very much enjoyed our stay there. The snag was that the only piece of furniture to sit on in the living room was a futon that was very uncomfortable and low to the ground. An older or heavier person would be unable to get up from it. The chairs in the kitchen were quite small and also uncomfortable.'

'Would have given no stars, but can’t. Do not book this place!! It does not exist and there is no response from a host. Drove to the address and it wasn’t an apartment, but run down homes in some neighborhood.'

'We loved this property! It’s very cute. Had everything we needed. And was close to so many wonderful places to visit while in Kansas City. It’s on a quiet street. No parking problems at all. Check-in and checking out were all very simple. '

'Very nice apt..the only issue is one the owner has no control over. The guy who lived above me was always up to the wee hours of the morning..he also got up early. I could hear him dragging things, rolling furniture, etc. Having to go through 2 nights with minimal sleep, I left a day early so I could get sleep at home!'

'This house was perfect and im the mosr perfect location. We were able to walk to the downtown area along the road with a sidewalk all the way. There were alot of trails amd areas to explore along the way. The host was prompt with return messages and was very detailed which made the check in and check out easy. We're already planning a return trip and hope to stay here again.'

'We have been blessed to celebrate our mom's 85th & 87th birthdays at the Shamrock! We love the Shamrock and the grounds, it is beautiful and so well appointed. Denise & Mike think of everything! It's fun coming back and seeing new things, the vineyard is amazing! I hope we are able to gather at the Shamrock again!'
