If you have the opportunity, I would stay far away from any properties managed by Mmega. I made my reservation in November for a ground floor apartment as I was traveling with an elderly person in a wheelchair. 2 days before I arrived, the following March, they informed me that they did not have the apartment. They offered me an alternative that I accepted but they didn’t tell me it was on the top floor with no elevator. I asked the for an alternate location and explained why. They just told me that I had already accepted the apartment and that I could not cancel or get a refund. They made absolutely no effort to remedy or to help, nor even offer me a ground floor apartment JUST for the elderly person. On top of all of that, they were very persistent in charging me the tourist tax even though we were disputing the apartment. It seems to be very important to them to charge cash for the tourist tax. I was forced to find a place on my own for 8 people. It was a stressful situation. I was very disappointed in Mmega’s lack of assistance. Needless to say I lost the entirety of what I paid, for an apartment I didn’t use. If you can, use a Vrbo that is not managed by Mmega. Also, Mmega insisted on communicating through WhatsApp. After speaking with Vrbo, I was told that I should never do that. Always keep your communication through Vrbo otherwise they can’t help. For whatever it’s worth, that was my experience.
