'The stay was incredible'

'A great apartment on the edge of the old town. Fab views of the sea and of the local area - great for people watching. Good size living / kitchen area with well appointed cooking area. Full sized fridge freezer which is always a bonus. Bedroom at the back with a small rooflight window - no aircon - but a decent fan in both areas. Walk in bathroom/ shower was without a window and limited mechanical extraction - so had a v damp smell - a design fault - but had to keep that door closed. But the...

'The communication was always in a very timely manner. The apartment is nice and very convenient to travel in Funchal. We underestimated the noice of the street, it seems to be a main road down to the city. We overlooked the remarks that this apartment has no dishwasher. This is u usual and not that comfortable if you travel with 6 people. We asked for a kitchen towel but this is not part of the service.'

'Wonderful, communicative host. Apartment clean and well maintained! Has everything to make you feel like you’re in your own home! Bus stop is just outside so very easy access to town centre and everywhere else. Highly recommended!'

'Well presented, clean and plenty of space. I would definitely stay again.'

'Stayed at Casinha Azul from Sept 26th to 29th. Apartment was very nice, spacious and super clean. Location was close to Funchal’s city centre. The whole experience with staff was very easy and pleasant, response time was very quick! Only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star review is that the house has no air conditioning and boy was it super hot during our stay, even with the fans provided!'

'From initial booking to the end of our trip our host was attentive and informative, giving us great tips on places to see and places to eat so that we were able to make the best use of our time in Funchal. We were able to check in earlier than the stated time so we could start exploring the city. Clean and well equipped which met our needs, although we did mostly eat out enjoying local dishes.Great location with lots to do on the doorstep and we loved having the use of the private terrace, the...

'The apartment was incredible, right in the centre of Funchal, really easy to get to and really close to the main attractions of the city. Miguel was an excellent host, we forgot an item there and he was able to get it back to us when we came back in the city. We really recommend this accommodation for an amazing holiday.'

'Maison très confortable avec une magnifique vue sur la baie de Funchal. Arrêt de bus très proche. Nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas sur la terrasse. Plusieurs auberges et magasins d'alimentation accessible à pieds. Une très bonne adresse pour visiter la très belle île de Madère.'
