"Eenpersoonskamer op de de 5de verdieping: heel veel geluidsoverlast, ook van hangjongeren. Eerste avond om half 2 's morgens naar de receptie gebeld omdat hangjongeren in groep al uren aan het roepen waren voor het hotel. Dit heeft nadien nog zeker een uur geduurd."

"The rooms are nice, clean and very roomy, beds are great and confortable. The halfways are clean and so is the breakfastroom. More then enough choyces for breakfast. Reception is on 5th floor, very spacious and easy access to the reception, the employees are accurate and deliver a fast check-in. On the same Floor there is a bar, as on groundlevel bar and small restaurant. Van der Valk Zuid As had their own garage. Easy to enter. I like to sleep here when I have to be in Amsterdam, because it is right off interstate 10 and close to the tram (trolly), and underground, bringing you to the center of Amsterdam in no time. "
