Only 2 exterior steps down to the private entrance worked out great for our older Labrador Retriever who has difficulty with steps these days. The layout works well with a separate bedroom and living room, connected by a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator and small countertop oven unit (no cooktop). Bathroom is nice as well. 'This loft was so charming, so well appointed. Very thoughtful things, like earplugs by the bed and bakery cookies to enjoy. Very cutely decorated, very close to the Hartford healthcare amphitheater if you’re attending a concert… Which we were. The host left a birthday surprise for my husband because we were celebrating his birthday, which was above and beyond and wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.'

'Although my original plans for the weekend changed I had a wonderful rainy stay. There are definitely a lot of food options in the area to choose from, and the walkability to the beach albeit cold and off-season was very nice. My only downside would be there were a lot of remotes and no clear placement of where which went to, the tv did not have cable(or at the very least I couldn't figure out how to use it), the only real option for air flow was to crack the windows, but otherwise a very nice...

'Yes, parking on the street was new to us but we didn’t have any problems finding spots. Because the restaurants are within walking distance we didn’t cook at all. Walked to the bodega for a few staple items, snacks, milk, etc.Unique neighborhood vibe and really enjoyed ourselves. '

'I arrived at 6:30pm on day of arrival, key code did not work. Owner on phone said he needed to send someone to the house - no time estimate was given. I told him I was going to dinner and for him to call me when I could get in.At 9pm, I had not heard anything (no call, no text,no email).'

'I had such a great time in Stamford! Very lovely town and a very lovely property. It is a 15 minute walk to downtown so I’d recommend loaning a car or using rideshare services. The unit also has quite low ceilings, so it does feel a bit cramped if you’re over 6 foot.Overall, a very great unit and communicative hosts.'
