'Quite possibly one of the hidden gems of Hakuba Goryu. If you want the true Hakuba local experience and taken back in time, this is your spot. No frills and feel like you are staying with your relatives. Amazing hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.

'A beautiful tucked away spot in Hakuba! The surrounding forest was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. About 15min walk to Goryu or they can take you in the shuttle. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated for, also a lovely spot focusing around keeping your dogs happy and taken care of. Spacious cabin feel and a decent restaurant with some nice options :) I would recommend this to anyone visiting in the winter or summer'

'I visited Hakuba Sun Valley with my partner and 2 children and we LOVED it!
The location is amazing, directly opposite the chair lift, and the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive.

'Stayed here for 4 nights and it was the perfect spot for skiing. Just opposite the beginner slope chair lift and only a short walk from the ski school. The staff were excellent and very welcoming, especially the man at reception. We really appreciated the buffet dinner after long days of skiing. Would definitely recommend booking a stay here. Rooms are very cosy and beds are comfy.'

'This is a well designed and meticulously maintained property. We were there for an epic multi-day snowstorm. The roads to and from the property were well plowed each morning and the spacious driveway plowed every day. While we had a rental van, it is close to a shuttle stop and several restaurants can be walked to in about 5 minutes.'

Unfortunately, as I was new to the area, I couldn't find any car parking within a 5 km radius due to the ski parking being full.
