'This property is beautiful! It's surrounded by trees and felt private, even though there are other homes nearby. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The sunroom has been redone since the photos posted. It's a wonderful place to have coffee or an evening glass of wine. My family enjoyed walking down to the water, exploring the beach. 'A great stay, in a great location, with great views and easy water access. The hosts are welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to make you feel comfortable. The cottage is three floors, with a superb deck. Every floor offers great views of Frenchman's Bay and Acadia. Comfortable and cosy, you are literally among the treetops! A grand stay.'

'We stayed for 4 nights with friends and had an amazing time. This place was amazing and very clean. No issues whatsoever with the little construction that was nearby. Everything you will need is provided and all things you want to do is very close. The fire pit was a great Maine experience and communication with the owner is super easy. Definitely will stay again. 'Staying on the "quieter" side of Mt Desert Island, gave us the opportunity to hike new parts of Acadia with views just as spectacular as Cadillac Mt. ( Mt. St. Sauvier and Acadia Mt). The yurts were a great compromise for the 2 young adults wanting camping in the woods and us elders preferring a bed and kitchen. THANKS Acadia Yurts!'

'This cabin was amazing! The location back in the woods up the end of the road was a welcome retreat after days exploring the island and Acadia. The deck was perfect for coffee in the morning or drinks at night. The sunrises were beautiful to watch from our own bedroom. :). Fire pit was so cool to have and the wood provided was perfect . Vicki was a great host and we’d definitely come back for a stay in the future. '

'I’ve rented more than 20 different properties all around the island over the past 35 years. This little cottage in Pretty Marsh/Somesville is one of my favorites. Great location, new construction, perfect layout for me, my wife, and our two young kids (9 and 11), and everything we need. We are already planning a return trip to this house for next summer. 'Our first time in a yurt and we loved it! The property is so well maintained and we had all the essentials we needed. It's an added bonus to have the wellness center on site and be able to book a "float", sauna or yoga class. We had so much fun exploring the area and coming back to the yurt to enjoy dinner on the grill or stove and relax outdoors. We plan to return! (Check in was simple, communication excellent, wi-fi worked great and kitchen was simple and had what was needed.)'
