'This is an old house, and certain features could be deemed charming. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated some of the amenities. However, it seemed worn and bare-bones in some aspects. 'The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for travelers arriving on late-night flights. It is within walking distance of the airport, making it very convenient to reach without needing a shuttle or taxi. Another big advantage is that the hotel is also just a short walk from the rental car center, making it easy to pick up a rental car the next morning and continue your trip. 'Stayed two nights while visiting Portland. It’s conveniently located near highways and interstates. Room was good, clean and came with all necessities. Breakfast was okay, enough to get the day started. '

'The room was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with a few minor exceptions, namely no cutting boards (small thing). The location is perfect for exploring Old Town, highly recommend. The only improvement I would request would be some small fans in the rooms as the meager HVAC couldn't really circulate the air and it got a bit stale during the night. Very minor comfort issue. We will definitely consider staying with Docent again.'
