'Well equipped and comfortable place to get '

'Incredible views from every room in the house! It was such a a cozy cabin nestled in the woods. The house had everything we needed and the location was perfect. We had such a a great stay here!'

'The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine.'

'The Golden Lantern is a beautiful house - Our group of friends had a very comfortable stay here! It Is comfortable & spotless - had everything we needed! The location was perfect for visiting Acadia, Bar Harbor with many restaurants close by! Will definitely come back!'

'Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again. '

'The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, utensils, pot and pans etc. as well as very clean. We enjoyed having the laundry facilities at the home. There was a lovely deck and patio. This was the easiest host to deal with as well as check in. We loved how close and convenient it was to town and activities We are looking forward to returning. '

'First, the house is clean, great location, in pretty good shape overall. The host is pretty responsive. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by the listing vs reality of the space. The upstairs is not accommodating to adults! Felt like the listng could have noted this! There's a reason they don't show pictures of the upstairs bathroom or bedroom. 'Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole property was very family-friendly. We had five children and five adults, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.The pool was a game changer — even on our one rainy day, it made the vacation still feel like a celebration. There were plenty of pool towels for all the swimmers, which was a greatly helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances (air fryer, blender, coffee maker, etc.), and...

'Location was fantastic in the middle of everything, and parking was great, especially since it was so crowded everywhere else when we were in Bar Harbor. Very much enjoyed the breakfast at Everyday Joe's downstairs. The place was clean and communications with Diwas, the owner, was prompt, courteous and efficient. Had a great stay.'
