The bedroom is like being in the clouds surrounded by an Apple tree and a beautiful backyard! Wall to wall windows allow you to view the night sky and the moon! 'This is a beautiful, well taken care of home! The views from the kitchen, dining, bedrooms, multiple porches and the dock were awesome. The decor in the home is charming! The owner has everything there that you could possibly need…kitchen items, plenty of seating, games, puzzles, books, extra blankets, etc. It’s a beautiful area to take walks as well. There are places close by to grab coffee, sandwiches, lobsters, oysters, clam chowder, etc. The owner of the home is very nice and responds...

'The stairs and upper landing were difficult for a 76 yr old. suggest a 2nd small railing at the landing. No upstairs bathroom made things a bit difficult at night. Other than that the place was great.'

'Boomfish Cottage is a cozy place with everything you could need . It was clean , comfy and serene . It provided the perfect calm for us during a weekend long family wedding at nearby Caswell Flower Farm . It was also easy access for an older person ( me) as well as small children and my little ShihTzu rescue dogs . My granddaughters came by and loved catching minnows in the still warm lake. Extra bonus was enjoying the peak foliage at the lake . Eric , the property manager was very communicative...

'This home is so wonderful to stay in. My sister and I find this to be the perfect place to meet each other and relax with our family. Beautiful space. '

'Had trouble getting in the rental, outdoor area leaves and sticks in it, several spiders and webs were found, no broom or dustpan after communicating with Vaccasa someone was supposed to drop the broom and dustpan off, that didn't happen we bought one ourselves, there were fungi growing in the shower area. I have owned vacation rentals and used vrbo to rent it, my place never looked this.'

'Nice house with a beautiful Mountain View! Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. The s’mores kit was a nice touch, too. Highlights of our stay were hiking in DuPont forest to Three Falls, Lexington Glass Works in Asheville, and downtown Waynesville. All in all, we had a great trip. '
