'We loved the apartment! Very clean, comfy beds, and the perfect location for access to activities: beaches and rock hunting, copper mine tours, hiking and cross country skiing trails. There was no smell of fish since the nearby fish shop was closed. Would definitely stay here again!'

'We really enjoy the old schoolhouse turned into apartments. The price is very reasonable. We love how they tried to keep as much of the original structure as possible, the old doors and flooring. It is a clean and well kept property. The owners are very accommodating and have a quick response time, when I asked about staying another night. '

'This location was very quiet, close to Calumet and area hot spots. Comfy beds, more than enough room for two people, nice size bathroom. Easy to control temps and plenty of hot water once it got to the taps. Lots of games and plenty of kitchen gear for cooking.'

'Didn’t seem like a bad area but all of the business buildings are not businesses anymore. The property is in an old building, which is unique and the idea is great. The problem is that the unit smells very strongly of old building. I felt like it was not clean because of the smell. Cool idea but I would not stay again'

'We came up for winter carnival and the property was exact as advertised and expected. We were a little confused by the address; it was not totally clear to use that 302 Lincoln was the address, not just an apartment number. Also there were not quite enough utensils for 8, which is the listed capacity. We were overall very pleased the the property, location, parking etc. It was perfect for our needs and we would definitely stay again.'

'The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit.'

'Stayed one night to ride snowmobile up the keweenaw. Fantastic location, literally ON the trail. Great bars down the block. Hosts were very communicative and friendly. Clean place with tons of space to hang out. Nice use of an old building with cool history. Will be back!'

'The apartment was very cute and stylish. A great repurpose of an industrial building. We enjoyed being in downtown Houghton and being able to walk to restaurants, stores and bars. Our car was able to be parked in a parking lot across the street from the apartment so it was easy to get out of town to explore the Keweenaw. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Houghton.'

'Overall the house was decent. Very spacious and sprawling. There was no possible way we would have been able to fit sled trailers there, although told we could, 3 trucks didn’t even fit comfortably. Cleanliness could have been better. Bathrooms were “old dirt” dirty. Kitchen was pretty bad especially the fridge/ freezer. Biggest disappointment was no functioning hot tub.
