'While This property sits almost directly off the main drag, It's quiet. We slept like logs. The rooms are clean and wonderfully decorated. The young man who was behind the desk during our stay was so helpful, and I really appreciate that.'

'Property was suffering beach erosion after the winter and early storms on the Oceanside. But spectacular view from room and deck on the Oceanside. We should have asked them for a regular coffee pot. Very disappointed that the hot tub was not even warm. We went for beach horseback ride and for 62 yo we sure could have used it. Mgmt tried to get propane for hot tub . But just couldn’t. '

'Colonial Inn is always a launching point for our OBX trip. They are affordable and convenient for a Friday night stay on the way further south for a following week. We appreciate that they don’t require a 2 night stay and use them regularly as a result.'
