Hotels met sauna in Hill Country

'Our overall stay was excellent when we were there from Friday (8/8) until Sunday (8/10). Our room was cleaned when we first checked in. The only thing that was unusual was the setup of our bathroom because sink and faucet were located right next to our main room door. Toilet and shower were together in the same room separate from sink & faucet. This set up reminded me of how some of the bathrooms in France were set up. The biggest gripe for me was the stairway across from room 302 going down...

'The property was elegant, comfortable clean. It has a great pool that is both indoor and outdoor. The staff were great both friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the internet did not work the whole time I was there, despite reporting it to the front desk. The TV was also too soft to hear most dialogue. But the beds were comfortable and it was resonable and suites the purpose for being there for a race at Cota which was not far away. Tge breakfast was limited and aquality was good but...

'My family usually does not visit this area, but it was the chosen hotel for an event and it suited that purpose really well. The event room was very nice. The outside pool turned out to be lovely (nicer than we realized, once we got in the water we appreciated the canopy of trees). The suite was very eclectic - like something from the set of the 1968 film "2001: A Space Odyssey " - but spacious and with a very nice king bed. Parking was a challenge because the place is really popular for events.'

'Liked the room, the views, the patio for drinks by the bar, food was good. Didn’t like how loud the lobby bar was- you could not hear the clerks at the desk. You had to shout. That’s not professional. Also didn’t like the tiny balcony outside the room- felt very unsafe and things could fall easily.'

'Made a quick decision to go to the lake, the condo is right on the lake but a few hundred feet up the cliff to the lake. There’s not a lot to do in the area unless you have a boat or plan to rent. We had lunch at Capt Pete’s marina and it was very good. Spent the 2nd day across the lake at Stonehouse vineyard, good Texas wine only problem it’s an hour drive around the lake. All in all it’s a very nice condo and priced well'
