Quiet location as the carriage house is located at the back of the property with a nice happy hour porch overlooking a large yard, which our dog enjoyed. 'Serenity on the Lake is "Serenity on the Lake". Lovely place to stay. Beautiful decor, quiet and peaceful. Bob and Elaine are excellent hosts- they made us feel at home and were very helpful in anything we needed. The pictures on Vrbo are exactly as the room appears. Cozy and has privacy. 'I was there for two nights. Comfortable bed. This is an apartment the owner leaves when you are there so there is the owner's food in the cabinets, refrigerator. Not a problem for me. 'I booked the property for my husband and I to have a leaf peeping weekend away but his plans unfortunately had changed so I took my sister along instead. We loved the house! Kara greeted us as we pulled into the driveway, she was so friendly and said to text anytime with any issues. We had no issues or problems at all. 'Wow! This property has everything. Host is extremely responsive. You will enjoy an outdoor oasis with secluded patios and fire pits. The coffee bar was adorable.
