'I stayed in Hotel MK for 4 nights. I booked a single room, which was the size of a shoebox. The room is really small, 6m2. But I was only in the hotel to sleep and shower. So it wasn't a problem at all. The room is clean, shower is okay. Location is perfect. Nearby MTR station Mongkok. Very nice people on the street. I walked alone to the hotel at 23:30 at night. Had no problem at all. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling alone. Had a really great time, and I would come back...

'The hotel rooms are really small, but everything is small in Hong Kong. However the rooms were really clean and there is a fridge and microwave in the hallway, not in the room even though it seems that way from the hotel description. The location is great, everything you need is nearby. It is a good hotel for a few nights, but if you want luxury you have to book something else, this hotel is really basic. 'The staff was super friendly and that is why the rating is high. It’s an old place , clean for what it is inside the room. No windows, bathroom + toilet combined. As a solo traveller it was acceptable for what you’re paying. If not for the staff who was always trying to please it would have been 2 stars - 1 stars based on just the facilities. If you want to just crash, not worry about creepy crawlers, bare bones. Try them out.'
