'The property did not indicate this was a top floor condo. I have mobility issues and this was a real problem. There were several hairs on the bed sheets. I contacted the manager and he never responded. Washed everything myself including the mattress pad which had flakey debris on it, because we couldn’t just leave and lose our . Plus all our heavy luggage was painstakingly brought upstairs at this point. After a 5 night stay we still never heard from the Manager. This is not acceptable. ...

'I've booked quite a few trips using VRBO and the Barnstead Depot is hands down the best place we've stayed. The setting is peaceful, the depot is lovely - I even love the heron wallpaper. We arrived on a HOT summer day and the a/c was on and it was nice and cool inside. The kitchen is well equipped and even has ice cream cones in the freezer. Next we stay there I'm going to plan to come in the fall when the leaves are turning. Thanks again!'

'These were cute little cabins, rustic, but clean and tidy with everything there for staying for awhile. AC too. We were on the water and the geese welcomed us in the morning! The cabin had a screened in porch with comfy chairs. There was a nice little beach with kayaks to use, a fire pit and firewood for each cabin. The bed was comfy. It was nice and we would definitely visit again.'
