'We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. A great location, easy to get just about anywhere from the hotel. The service and staff we're some of the best we've ever had the pleasure to stay with. We highly recommend this location and would stay here again for sure! 'Beautiful house in excellent condition in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is provided in the house. The phone in the house did not seem to work to call the reception though. The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!! '

'What a fascinating glimpse into the seminal roots of Nintendo's rise from a simple card making company into one of the most powerful Video Game companies in the world. Marufukuro has it all...a stunning architectural example of old world craftsmanship vs. Tadao Ando's modernist visions. The neighborhood is quiet and tranquil and is teaming with herons as a lovely bonus! Hotel staff is warm and goes above and beyond. '

'This was by far our favourite accommodation in Japan. The manager was amazing and the accommodation was spacious, traditional but will all of the modern facilities. We loved it and wished we had spent more time here. In fact, once we moved to Osaka, we travelled back twice to spend time in this area and a little town called Sanjo. '

'The onsen experience is amazing! We were so relaxed each evening after the baths and massage chairs! My daughter was in heaven with nightly ice cream! Nothing at the big chain hotels we are used to in the states comes close! The rooms are smaller than we are used to but the value and experience far exceeds traditional western standards. Stay here if you want to feel welcomed and relaxed during your stay!'

'We stayed here for 2 nights. It's a nice hotel with a 7 mins bus ride to the Kyoto station. 17 mins if you prefer to walk. The bus stop is 1 minute from the hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.'

Een hotel dicht bij Kyoto station.

"Een hotel dichtbij het station. Kamers voor het oog schoon maar bij het openen van de kast dwarrelde het stof naar beneden. In 1 kamer werkte de airco niet goed maar een kamerwisseling was niet mogelijk. Voor het zwembad en de fitness moet je extra betalen."

"This hotel cleans once every three days. On the third day I came back after a long day in the burning sun. My room wasnt cleaned, even though I was assured by a worker in this hotel that my room would be cleaned. It took 5 calls with staff to come op with some 'solutions'. The first solution was that I should move to another room. I was tired after a long day and I had alot of stuff in my room. I didnt have energy nor the time for this. The second solution was that they would 'clean' my room. This would take 30 minutes. I had to move out, completely exhausted, to come back to a room that wasnt even properly cleaned. They didnt even offer me ANY compensation for the inconvenience. No breakfast, no money back nothing. I spent the entire week in APA hotels, first in Osaka and then in Kyoto. Never again!"
