'Walls were ‘thin’. Toddler next door was noisy. We were put in a handicapped room… we didn’t ask for it or need it. The room was fine but shower was a walk in and water got throughout the bathroom floor. Slippery'

'Chela was friendly and accommodating and quick to check me in. The rest of the staff has been very attentive and friendly!! The pool is great.'

'Overall this was an average, pretty much no frills hotel. The rooms were clean. No microwave or closet in the room. You had to request new towels or room cleaning as they only do this every 2 days. However, you were not informed as such until we asked. Breakfast was average. But overall clean. '

'Upon arrival, the reception office had a foul odor. We got out room key and the floor was dusty, the beds did not appear clean, linen was cloudy white. The ac unit was very dusty. The room itself had a foul smell as well. The lightning was terrible. The restroom was very dirty. The toilet water was cloudy and appeared to not have been cleaned in a long time. The bathtub was very dirty. The toilet paper was not a new roll and we did not have any more toilet paper. We only had one small towel. I...

'Worst stay at this property ever. My booked room was not honored; did not get a room until half an hour later; malfunctioned TV, microwave, and poor internet signal were deadly. But a hot water bath, a comfortable bed, and quiet air conditioning gave me a very comfortable long sleep such that I had plenty of energy to continue my trip next day.'

'When we arrived it looked a bit unkempt outside so at 2 am I told my son we were leaving stuff in the car and checking the room. After entering the supposedly non smoking room all you could smell was smoke'

'The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Having free parking is wonderful, outside and in the garage. The room overall smelled and appeared clean but the bathroom bathtub could have been cleaner, it was like slightly grey as if there was build up dirt. Also, the cleaning policy is every other day which is ok but I had to ask them to clean because they didn't even when they were suppose to. And the area is pretty quiet so it's good if you don't like noise. Overall I would give the place a 3.5'

'The hotel was very clean however the fridge was not working well and there was no handsoap in the bathroom. It seemed there was only one person at front desk for help. We had to go downstairs to get soap as no one answered the phone.'

'Room felt crowded and old in style. Bathtub was cracked and the beds were awful. We could feel the springs from the mattress. The hot tub was colder than bath water and the entire pool area felt unsafe. The doors were rusty inside the pool area, no poll towels and the smell as you entered the front door to the lobby smelled like dead fish. I heard another guest tell the front desk it smelled bad in the entrance where the luggage carts were at like a wet dog. The entrance to the motel is not well...

'This was our second visit to Montage Palmetto Bluff and once again it did not disappoint. The hospitality we find here is second to none. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiling faces. We’d like to give a special shout out to Carmela at the concierge desk who was so incredibly wonderful with our 4 year-old son, Henry. Everything she did and every recommendation she provided enhanced our stay. The natural beauty of this place is beyond compare. We cannot wait to visit again. '
