'The check-in went smoothly, and we really got our hopes up for staying at Irie. But during the first night is where the problems started. Irie stated that there would be security during the night when something was up. We didn’t expect we would be needing them, also since the hotel isn’t located in the ‘party’ area. We had to think again, the hotel itself seemed to be the party area. There is no supervision during the night whatsoever. Neighbors played loud music, people who weren’t staying in...

'Perfect location, but a pity that there was too much seaweed. The hotel does a lot to remove it, but in our case it was impossible to enter the water. Appartments are very nice, but when you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that is not close to the road behind. For us it was no problem. '

'When you enter the property; amazing! very beautiful. However if you market yourself as a family friendly hotel and you cannot offer hot water at night for a formule bottle, or any baby friendly food, im not very sure. The first we got with our 15 months old had a bathroom outside, without any closed of door. We asked for an upgrade (which we paid) as we thought it would have a bathtub. Seemed it was not connected but just put as decoration. Strange. Simply put; rooms were a bit too primitive...

'The place is beautiful and very spacious. The only complain I would give is the water pressure wasn't the best. But beautiful place to stay, also the pool on the rooftop is very nice!'

'Paying the daily national park fee and figuring out where to enter and exit were a pain, but once we got the hang of it, not bad. Beach was full of seaweed; that way all along coast, even Cancun. Tulum Ruins was my favorite, above Chichen Itza! Food excellent at resort and every where else. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.'

'Wat een geweldig hotelletje. Aan het gezellig drukke doorgaande straatje in Tulum beach ligt dit zeer leuk ingerichte hotel. (Geen last vd straat) Kamer hebben zeer goede bedden, wij hadden een standaard kamer, met koelkastje. Wel wat weinig opbergruimte. Je loopt binnen een paar passen het strand op waar ze heerlijke ligstoelen en bedden hebben met parasols(gratis). Verder beschikken ze over een zeer goed restaurant. Tulum is niet goedkoop (Nederlandse prijzen) maar is erg leuk. Zwembad is...

'Everything was beautiful! Staff went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. This hotel is inside a National Park so you'll need wristbands daily (don't forget!). You'll pay once when you arrive, only $7 USD. A LOT of wildlife as the hotel is built around the park but still beautiful, small and cozy! Food was great too!'

'We had an amazing stay at Vita Tulum! Every person we interacted with was kind, pleasant, and welcoming. Our apartment exceeded our expectations. The private pool was very enjoyable as well as the larger roof top pool. We will absolutely stay here again during our next Mexico getaway!'

'Excellent property for our family of 5. Rooftop pool and eating area was amazing. All the bedrooms, bathrooms and living space top notch. We would definitely stay here again. There's a 7-Eleven across the street right outside the gated community. We didn't walk anywhere. We used a taxi and then rented a car. Just be careful with parking when exploring. We got our car towed in the hotel beach zone.'
