'Perfect location, but a pity that there was too much seaweed. The hotel does a lot to remove it, but in our case it was impossible to enter the water. Appartments are very nice, but when you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that is not close to the road behind. For us it was no problem. '

'The hotel is very pretty, so are the rooms. The prices for food are ridiculous however and not very good. We ordered traditional Mexican foods and they served it with sweet sauce! And then they still dare to over charge. Also the cabs that arrive at the hotel only try to rip off tourists. '

'SUCH A CUTE PLACE. Clean, has AC, lovely staff, amazing location- close to everything, very good pricing, has WiFi, has parking. No complaints! Will definitely come back here again. Just a heads up, “breakfast included” is just coffee/ OJ and a bread/pastry basket- everything else for a fee. Overall highly recommend.'

'Everything was beautiful! Staff went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. This hotel is inside a National Park so you'll need wristbands daily (don't forget!). You'll pay once when you arrive, only $7 USD. A LOT of wildlife as the hotel is built around the park but still beautiful, small and cozy! Food was great too!'

'Wat een geweldig hotelletje. Aan het gezellig drukke doorgaande straatje in Tulum beach ligt dit zeer leuk ingerichte hotel. (Geen last vd straat) Kamer hebben zeer goede bedden, wij hadden een standaard kamer, met koelkastje. Wel wat weinig opbergruimte. Je loopt binnen een paar passen het strand op waar ze heerlijke ligstoelen en bedden hebben met parasols(gratis). Verder beschikken ze over een zeer goed restaurant. 'The apartment was dirty and dusty. We were 3 people and didn’t get the 2 bedroom apartment because we wanted the one that had the private hot tub in the balcony which only had one bedroom and when we got in the place to be able to relax the hot tub was dirty and broken and I told them and they wouldn’t send anybody to come fix it. Also the dishes were dirty and the sink in the kitchen barely had water to wash dishes, the water in the shower was like salt water terrible, and no where to find...

'When you enter the property; amazing! very beautiful. However if you market yourself as a family friendly hotel and you cannot offer hot water at night for a formule bottle, or any baby friendly food, im not very sure. The first we got with our 15 months old had a bathroom outside, without any closed of door. We asked for an upgrade (which we paid) as we thought it would have a bathtub. Seemed it was not connected but just put as decoration. Strange. Simply put; rooms were a bit too primitive...

'Everything was exceptional. Clean, quiet and friendly! Very tropical almost like staying in a tree house. However it is seaweed season and the ocean was unusable because it was excessive and had an odor. The food was delicious as were the drinks. The area has many high end restaurants with entertainment. 'I got a room here VERY last minute. The check-in process was extremely easy; they sent you directions to your phone. Then the people at the front desk are very kind and helpful. They took their time to explain the directions we were sent as well. The room itself was extremely clean and comfortable. I could hear the guests next door, but that did not bother me. Overall 10/10 experience. I can't wait to go back!'

'The check-in went smoothly, and we really got our hopes up for staying at Irie. But during the first night is where the problems started. Irie stated that there would be security during the night when something was up. We didn’t expect we would be needing them, also since the hotel isn’t located in the ‘party’ area.
