'Villa Hurakan was the perfect choice for our family of 13. Every guest had their own comfortable bed and private bathroom, with multiple lounge areas and six pools to enjoy — plenty of space to relax by the main pool or find a quiet corner. 'This house was perfect! We had 10 people for a 50th birthday celebration and we had everything we needed. The whole area was extremely safe and private, we felt like we had our own beach. Edgar and our housekeeper were great and very responsive. Kim was very quick to reply to wordings our needs before and during our stay. 'The outside of the property was beautifully built. However, as soon as we walked in the house was musty and smelled like mildew. This could be remedied by turning on the A/C and would have been fine, but we also had issues with the upstairs A/C. The A/C in the master bedroom kept turning off and would not remain on. We even had condensation from the A/C dripping down the walls and making puddles on the ground. There are three showers and you aren't able to shower more than 1 person at a time...

'Everything was amazing! Deysi and Freddy were so sweet and helpful. The property was stunningly beautiful. So many lovely areas to chill in. Watching the storms on the sea from the hammocks at night was magical. Walking south along the shore from the house you can come to the beach from the side and avoid much of the tourist hassle. A decent amount of tasty restaurants and good activities within walking distance, although that was a sweaty endeavor in late August. The stinky mounds of seaweed...

"Prachtig, luxueus hotel. We hadden een residentie met 4 kamers, dakterras met grote vuurkorf, eigen zwembadje. Bedden en badkamers prima, leefruimte heel mooi enkel de keuken was zeer basic van kookopties: 1 kom, 1 pan. Het restaurant is een aanrader (wel prijzig), de poolbar is een pareltje, het zwembad is super mooi, er is yoga... Het is er ook rustig. Je hebt wel een auto of taxi nodig om naar het centrum te gaan. Het personeel spreekt zeer beperkt Engels. Kortom, absolute aanrader, een echte parel!"
